Reelcraft 600866 Speed Control

12/24 V DC speed control switch for use with any DC motor no larger than 1/2 HP.

The 600866 is a Motor Speed Control and is intended for use with 12 Volt or 24 Volt PMDC (Permanent Magnet DC) motors, with motor ratings no larger than 1/2 HP. Using the Rocker Switch, select the 12V or 24V battery voltage for your application.

The 600866 must be used in conjunction with a power on/off push button switch and solenoid to turn off power to the reel and disconnect the speed control from the motor wire. See wiring instructions.

The 600866 is used for winding in hose and cable reels. It cannot be used on labor intensive applications such as jetter hose reels, winching, or pulling up heavy objects through a pipe.

Wiring Instructions:

CAUTION: The speed control’s black wire is the (-) negative battery connection. Do not connect the control’s Black wire to the positive voltage wire coming from the switch, solenoid, or circuit breaker. Connecting the control’s black wire to the vehicle frame will create a high resistance to the battery’s (-) negativeterminal. If theblack wire is connected to the vehicle frame, and not connected directly to the battery, the control’s performance and longevity cannot be warranted.
